PLACES OF CULTURAL INTEREST
Ciutadella: it is a Renaissance military fortress considered Bien de Interés Cultural and declared a Historical Complex in 1961.
The Trinitat Castle: one of the first examples of the artillery strength of the coast. It was an innovative building at the time it was built to defend the port of Roses.
Megalithic and Visigothic Castrum: you can visit these dolmens and buildings of 3,000 BC: La Creu d’en Cobertella (3000-2700 BC), el Llit de la generala (3200 BC) and el Cap de l’Home.
THE BEACHES OF ROSES
Santa Margarida Beach: it is a long beach of 550 m of fine golden sand. The water is shallow and very clean.
Canyelles Petites beach: it is a fine and golden sand beach with crystal-clear water. Located in a small bay.
L’Almadrava beach: it is a beach of 500 m of fine sand and intense blue waters. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Roses.
